Hospitalists

One of the primary ways that Brainerd Lakes Health has improved patient care in recent years is through the implementation of the Hospitalist system.

Hospitalists—the backbone of our team approach to healthcare—are physicians who are present in the hospital 24/7 to closely monitor patients' conditions and adjust medications.

With a Heart Center right down the hall, it's easy for hospitalists to admit emergency room patients quickly when needed.
