Joint Commission Public Notice

St. Joseph’s Medical Center and its clinics are accredited by the Joint Commission, including St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Pine River Clinic, Pequot Clinic, Pierz Clinic, Crosslake Clinic, Pillager Clinic, and Hackensack Clinic.

The Joint Commission conducts periodic unannounced accreditation surveys of hospitals nationwide to evaluate the organization's compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. The survey results are used to determine whether, and the conditions under which, accreditation should be awarded the organization.

Joint Commission standards deal with organization quality, safety-of-care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.

If you have concerns about patient care and/or safety at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, you are encouraged to contact the Patient Representative by phone at 218-828-7649, or ask the operator to page the administrative officer on call, or by email at sjmc@sjmcmn.org.
